Nice...from teeth whitening to wrinkle reduction. Why would "Bio-Chemist Soccer-Mom" be sitting at home worrying about tonic water for whiter teeth and wrinkle-reduction when she could be using her mastermind for something worth while...like taking over Gotham City? The Joker almost took out all of Gotham by poisoning consumers with mixed household chemicals - and Gotham is about as real as these "local mom" remedies.

Don't fall for it, people.

Thank you. What do I do to stop it now? Would I have to have bank cancel credit card and change number?

Frances,

It's the exact same scam as the teeth whitening scam I originally wrote about, only in a new "skin."

The product doesn't really matter that much, whether it's teeth whitening, or wrinkle cream, or acai berry supplements, or whatever. The basic approach is to:

* Charge you big bucks for a "free" trial (usually, two different "free" trials)
* Keep on charging you (usually close to $200 a month) -- FOREVER.

Or, at least until you get wise and put a stop to it.

They promise you something for almost nothing, but the fine print tells you outright that they're going to rip you off for hundreds of dollars.

John, Have you heard of the following ad?

Don't Break the Bank: A Mom's Trick to a Wrinkle FREE Face

I just ordered this and tried it tonight, but I think it is a scam. The products smells and feels like butter or some food. Would you please let me know. It just does not feel right.

Lord knows I wished I had read your posts before I fell prey to these scum-sucking leeches. Hopefully canceling my credit cards will leave a bad taste in their mouths, next time they try to bill me. Oh, and I hope and pray they try to get nasty if I don't pony up any more for their "Trial" offer. Can you say "Court time, guys?" I thought not.
